There the doorbells never stop teasing

Where once an auction troubled drape goes phasing
tulips mark your walk, and slingshot keeps the symmetry
like bathing astrophysicists drugged by the cow manure
dissolving in-country, out of turnouts, where Mark stops writing
here are nectar shrines, on the corner, with the sold pomegranates
and horses keep shooting, where the night stops shinning,
here to meet your ring finger with the astral wit of someone swimming

quarries chased away for key chain debut stove-ends,
kiss to keep walking, like riverboats closing, natural hindrance
for a decade, for a tile parade of hunted memory flashes
stolen daytime classes, mopping the Ezra pines like stealing
rather and bored cosmological bookends, hearing the plea deals
here for the tree’s memory of my grandparents, of the asphalt wedding,
like tooth-ends, just stop stalling where shimmers stop canceling fall
