The cost of teaching

careerism is always the preoccupation
of the calculated and careless
when there is a price for learning
it losses values of achievement
the public could teach each other best
no more spying on who accesses
with open access we free all spectra
technical and critical knowledge

open access frees the rocks and pond
builds engagement, encourages valor
instead of historical ecology being
a tool of repression behind closed doors,
under open access historical ecology
saves the planet, the people, Earth’s
species, and the container of all those
previously closed lectures and writings

the cost of teaching is teaching itself
where it was once taught that ontology
should capture a shared space, it now
also should include a shared education
the infinite potential is of our minds

localized and regional degrowth
must include shared spaces of learning
to each who are able, to their ability
must share and teach readily at no cost
reject the capitalist possession of knowledge
