Canyons Crying Out

to capture a moment in time
to hold it long enough to define its shape
is to see prophecy, is to see a moment with God
these ramification drift to unease after the current
after the wisdom has quickly escaped
when one is in communication with God no more
creation cuts the cord, we are left beggars to Her/His/Their mercy
like canyons crying out, but not involved in time, not any more
